I just replaced my rear brakes, and now my parking brake light stays on. I didn't do anything to the parking brake, and I'm pretty sure it's not on (I figure I would notice the drag). Any thoughts or ideas? The stupid light is very annoying. Thanks.

I would take a look at the parking brake switch above the parking brake pedal mechanism. I had the opposite problem, where the parking brake light wouldn't come on reliably. I sprayed some WD-40 on the switch & operated it by hand a few times. Seems OK for now.

Check to make sure your e-brake pedal travels all the way up. Push it up with your toe, if the light goes off there's your problem. I just did this over the weekend.

:homer: Thanks guys (and gals ;) ), I was just low on brake fluid. As I said I did the rear brakes and of course bleeded them. But I was supposed to also do the front brakes at which point I was going to fill the fluid. But since that didn't fit into my schedule I can't do them until this weekend, so I forgot all about the fluid. I am very  I didn't think about filling the fluid. Sorry to waste everyone's time.
