I pulled the thermostat housing off one of my spare SHO 3.0s and decided to paint it. but first all the casting imperfections must be taken care of..

After a nice sanding some "Heavy-Duty Auto-Filler" is applied

After sanding the filler, 5 coats of specialty 1200 degree engine paint were applied.

A few rusty brackets get some much needed sanding and paint.

Give us the details. What exactly did you use? Is it in a can or do you spray it on with a gun? Was the black VHT or something else?
Why was the thermostat $75?
spray cans...

it was $75 because it's an SHO only part and I got it from Ford.

**edit.. and it's adjustable.. heh.. an Adjustable Thermostat!
