hey! is there anyone out there who has painted thier slicers(white,black,polished,chrome....anything) and has good pictures against their car?? i saw the post for how...but the rims were not slicers...so i really did not know what it would look like. I was thinking about it, and needed some pictures to assist in my decision....

i have mine powdercoated star dust black. deep dark black when it's dark, rainbow of colors in the black in the way of tiny flakes when the sun or light hits the rims.

Paint is Duplicolor wheel paint, color is charcoal or something like that. I used the Duplicolor wheel clearcoat too.
Color is called graphite; I used the same color on my rims

I had a friend who had slicers on a pontiact grand am GT....

He painted them bright yellow (this was about 4 years ago, when yellow was more in style
)

Anyways, it looked fine, but when it got dirty, it looked like old junky paint... so i think if you used the right colors, it'd look just fine..esp if it was a semi relfective color such as metalic, and one that wouldnt show dirt too well

That's the way to go. More expensive, yeah, but the effect is stunning.

I want to see some pics...
