As far as I can tell, 1996 cars have painted screws on the sidemarkers. Not sure about the rear, but the front was painted an amber color... Mine are just plain silver... has anyone else noticed this?

By the way... I painted my rear ones red today and it looks real nice. Makes the sidemarker look not so cheapy. I left my front ones silver cause I have the clear sidemarkers, but I have a set of the amber ones packed away with my stock sidemarkers.

Same with the windshield squirters. Up to '97 they were body color. These are just a cap that can be pried off.
