Look pretty good here. What did you use, the high-temp paint?
Looks nice... looks like I'm gunna have to do something like that in the distant future... Any more pics stepping away from the car? I want to see how it contrasts with the whole car...

The red is GM Bright Red auto paint (all the store had), covered in high temp engine enamel clear coat. The black is also engine enamel, covered in clear coat.

I have a few more pics, but I'm currently not at the same computer they are. Maybe later. I'll say, though, that it looks bloody sexy on the black car. When the car's clean, that is.
Those look nice, really nice.

They look just like mine, almost. But I paid alot for mine.
At the moment, I'm using a wire brush bit on a drill to clean my stock calipers and brackets, so I can paint them. And I'm sure they look just as nice as yours do.

By they way, if Bob G. reads this. Did you install the brackets you painted -- that nice red I liked?? Also did you paint the calipers to?? Show some pics if you got them.

In fact, lets see some more painted brackets and calipers on everyones Taurus.
I'd show mine but, I cannot figure out how to resize a pic.

Email or send me a link to it. I'll resize it, free of charge. :grin2: ;)

I was about to paint all my Calipers.. Yellow. But then when I inspected the brakes all around I noticed that the back left was barely even working.. heh.. must be some bad pistons or something. Right now I'm waiting for some Composite Lincolns rotors and the calipers to go with them to arrive. Then you'll see me with not only lincoln brakes (in back) but also painted calipers all around.

Do you think the yellow calipers will contrast my Emerald Green SHO nicely? :D

I wonder if anyone's ever tried white calipers? Probably be a pain in the arse to keep clean.

I considered it, to go with my white car. But then I thought it would look rediculous and would get dirty in no time, so I went with gloss black.

I have emerald green taurus with yellow painted rotors.

When I first got mine, the front calipers were painted Ford Blue by the previous owner...now after 5 years it's pretty much gone. Guess I didn't know what I had :p
