Ok, i was driving for about 10 minutes on route 4 at 55mph when i noticed my temp gauge is almost at the red line. so naturally, i turn the A/C off and turn the heat on. i have a manual climate contraols on my 97 Taurus. the problem is that even though the engine lookis like it is overheating, i get no heat. instead of hot air blasting me, i get warm, but still cool A/C. the temp dropped to about 3/4 of the way up. but at a stoplight or sign, the temp jumps back up to near the red line. I recently had the A/C fixed, they said it was the low pressure (switch? something like that) that prevented it from working. they replaced it. what could be the problem? ( or do i have several lol)
