Yo...My 01 overheated last week, had the car towed...when starting it now I get a rough idle...the reason it over heated is still in question...any help appreciated...

Your car overheated. It obviously has some issue with the engine. Did you check fluid levels? Are you sure that nothing was damaged? You had it towed, remember.

If it overheated and now is running rough,m then your head(s) are probably warped. Do a compression test first and see what the results are.

no smoke...no steam, had it overheat last year, it was the waterpump. putting a new thermostat in it today. idles rough but will accelerate fine.
