Ok I had spoke about this before. Got little if any interest whatsoever. I am going back to work at the Amusement park. Who would be interested in a meet in Portland Oregon at a reasonably sized Amusement park, that has picnic area's, large parking lots, plenty of rides, new and historic, food, catering, etc.? I would need everyone to agree on a specific date for this summer before I could get any pricing information. If I can't get together at least 6 to 8 people, I'm not gonna bother, as it would be too pricey most likely, unless the very few people would want to fork out that kinda cash to help hold the meet. Three possiblities exist for food. Have it catered by the park, buy food from the stalls, or bring our own a do it buffet, or BBQ style or whatever. Of course this doesn't apply to just west coast members. I'm thinking midsummer like July or August. What do y'all think? I've never organized anything like this before so if anyone wants to lend a helping hand or give some suggestions etc, I'm open to that as well. If a group of us come I can get a discount on rides, or I might even be able to fork out some of my employee bracelets(I only get so many per week) and borrow some from others maybe, in which case the rides would be free. I'm sure as an employee theyw ould make a special package deal for me for the club. So if you are interested, post in here and PM me. Also give best times, and such. I need to have some for sures and not just a bunch of maybe's, otherwise this could send me to the poor house as if nobody shows up, I'm gonna have to front all the cash. Oh wait already in the poor house.

If this goes forth I will ask for donations, as I don't want it to be a must pay to come kind of thing.

I will be in Beaverton Oregon this Spring Break.. Beaverton is close to Tigerd or something, which is close to Portland..

But were you just talking about in the Summer?

Well I was talking about an actual meet in the summer but if any club members are gonna be around I'd be more then happy to meet up with them. I start back to work on spring break but the hours will beshort about 4 to 6 hours a day. I should have my bull fixed by then. Hell I have to if I wanna get to work. Beaverton is actually alot closer to portland then Tigard, takes about an hour to drive to Tigard and about 30 minutes to Beaverton from where I am at. If you PM me I'll give you my home number so you can give me a call when you are in town.

Well, for those who are interested I checked into it, and a basic party at my place of work, (no ride bracelets included) is 25 bucks. If ya want Alcahol the bartenders are 25 bucks an hour 3 hour minimum. I've got all the info in my car but it includes quite a bit for that price. If anyone is interested in a meet at ahistorical amusement park with 23 rides called Oaks Park in the state of Oregon (Portland is the city) let me know, and I'll post all the info up.
