My 07 with the Vulcan had a small oil pan gasket leak for the past couple years so I tried to fix it a couple weeks ago but it's still leaking (I don't think I used enough rtv.) I want to try again tomorrow but my question is whether or not I should use the same gasket? I replaced it with a Fel-Pro on my failed attempt a couple weeks ago.

Try to find exactly where the leak is coming from. Wipe the pan etc. and drive it a couple of days and look for oil on the surfaces. If you cannot find it this way then you can add a dye and then look again for where the dye is coming out.
It really is not possible for the FelPro gasket to leak.
