When pulling my spark plugs yesterday I found there is oil in all 3 front plugs. Why would that be, and what should I do about it? Can I put new plugs in? Or should I wait until I get the issue fixed first? Here's all the plugs currently....
Try pulling the front valve cover and replace gasket and spark plug tube seals. Probably needs it anyway and is fairly easy to do. It's the back valve cover that is somewhat of a p.i.t.a.
Working end of the plug should look like the pic if the engine is running clean and not burning oil, fuel mix on target.
These at the end of their life. Black, sooty, oily, ceramics black all is not good.

If getting at the JY COPS:
I prefer newer looking as in the pic.
Pic is on my new buy car, clearly one has been replaced with OE part. If at the JY, I would pull the new OE first, second choice any OE.

After putting a different coil on, and new plugs, a few miles down the road my check engine light began flashing. Codes were 306 and 351 I believe. Was misfire on 6 and ignition coil A.
I didn't. I actually changed the cop completely on cyl 1 and 6 and so far, no misfires. So I'm assuming the first set I tried were bad.. I'll know for sure when I do a few Doordashes and get to drive it a little more
