Hello folks!! Welcome to Crazy Dan's "I'll install it anywhere I want it" post! Last thursday I purchased a 5.6" Pyle in-dash monitor for $240. Now, problem is...I have a whole sony system. so, problem....cant put tv in dash.....or can I?
Weapons of choice: a dremel tool, wire cutters, and crimp terminals. (oh and a small saw for those stubborn dash pieces)

My Target : To cut out this section on the passenger side dash.

With a snip snip here, and a cut cut there....I had done the unspoken......cut a big a** hole in my dash! Told you I was crazy!

Wait until you see the outcome! I was the test subject to see how the finished product looked and performed....its REAL nice!!! (lol sounds like a commercial)

Lastly....it even turns toward me in the driver seat in case I get bored sittin in traffic or down at the races (illegal that is!). Only down side, is that I had to mutilate the bottom half of the right side vent pipe to get this thing in straight. Small sacrifice since I dont have heat or ac. I have a portable DVD player in the glove box for now. I plan to put my ps2 in there soon tho so I wont be confined to just movies.
