Anyone have some insight as to where to go with a obd 1 code 63-throttle positioner circuit below minimum voltage. The shop manual makes it clear that the throttle positioner sensor (TSP) cannot be adjusted. Could it be as simple as replacing the TSP? Thanks.
With the key on you should have ~5v on one wire, ~1v on another and the third is a ground. Use a small solid gage piece of wire to backprobe the TPS connector. Ground should read <1 ohm back to the negative post on the battery.
If all is good there then you need to trace the 1v wire and see what it is reading at the PCM connector.
