last time i was on here with taurus trans problems it ended up being a fuse under the hood, this time I'm afraid it's more serious. The trans slips some when taking off in 1st untill you back off and then it seems to fully engage, then shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to third the engine revs up, so you back off on the throttle and it engages and off you go. I'm going to do a complete oil change and filter of course and add some lucas if it's recomended here and see what happens. If any have some tips or good thought feel free to reply. Thanks in advance

did the flush out today and new fluid in and it didnt do a thing, still wont engage gears unless I let off the throtle some. Went to a rebuild shop and he said they can do a diagnostics test along with something he called a pressure test, but not sure what that will help if they have to tear it apart anyways. One place wanted 1650.00 and another 2200.00 so I'm going with the cheaper one since they both have 12 months/12000 miles.
