I'm new to this forum and I got a whole bunch of ?'s But most importantly is "Can I and how would I bypass the Oxygen sensor? I have an '89 Bull and I just need it to survive another week until I can get a new cat and sensor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is a 3.0 vin u. Thank You!!

You can't. The HO2S sensor determines A/F ratio.



If you remove the HO2S sensor (unplug it), the car will run in "open loop" mode and determine A/F ratio by the fuel tables in the EEC. It will run, but it will not run well and it will suck on fuel economy. Also, it will throw a code.

Have an 89. Ran for months with it unplugged. What is your car doing taht you need to bypass? They usually fail to open loop, I think.
