Check your underhood fuse for the heated o2 circuit.

If the fuse blew, either one of the O2 heaters shorted internally or there is a short in the harness to 1 of the O2's. Check harness to each O2 for chaffing, hanging on an exhaust pipe and melting thru, etc.

O2s can be checked for a shorted heater element with an ohm meter.

UPDATE! The check engine light is now off. Looked under the hood and noticed the fuse was missing? My friend/mechanic must of not put it back in after replacing the muffler.:p

Wow. Just think, you could have paid a shop to tell you that the fuse was missing!

Another win for self-troubleshooting!
