i just got my nuke 15 installed in my trunk(finally). my amp is running at 2 ohms and is probably doing about 2000 watts, and it flat out pounds

. the only problem that i seem to be running into is voltage drop, during a good burp i am dropping down to 9 volts

. but as long as the car doesent shut off, im happy

.

we tested it on a new termlab USB mic, and i did 138 legal, and 132 on the headrest. now keep in mind that this box is not designed for this sub, my voltage is at 9 volts during a burp, and that this is overall not an ideal set up(tuning freq is too high for daily, but too low for SPL). but a 138 out of stuff that was just slapped together is not bad, especially on a termlab mic(those things are harsh).

ill post pics of it later, when i can get them snapped, but this sub absolutly SLAMS out the low notes. and it gets super low, plays subsonics like a champ. and it gets so loud that it actually moves my hair(and im not talking i feel it moving, you can see it moving

).

i always carry earplugs around in my car. i got in the habit of doing that because of my competition SPL car. plus, i dont drive around all the time with the volume all the way up... mom!!

Thats gotta be one of the most annoying this to hear in response to a hobby. Well, you better get one of these cuz ur gonna damage something! Anyone who has a huge system knows that it is hard on the ears.

Im not sure if my hair moved in my car or not. I would assume so, but where was i gonna look to see? lol the mirrors aren't very good reflectors when they're goin nuts

im not sure if i am going to be going to ROTB. what are the dates of it? maybe i can make it, but i think that is a pretty good haul from where i am at, and the family is in the process of moving, but ill see what i can figure.

haha, i have enough hair so that i can REALLY notice when it starts moving, and everyone in my car had to make comments about it moving. you should see what it does at 156 Db, or the loudest car ihave personally been in, 165 Db

. it moves like no other. but yeah, my mirrors are goin ape-shi* too

i use WinISD to play around with, but dont actually use it to design boxes. all of those programs are really horrible, box building is one of those things that you kinda gotta pick up on from looking at T/S and what not. they are not too bad at designing a sealed box, but when it comes to ported, they arent good. also remember that they plot response curves in a room, not in a car
