I have a 2005 Ford Taurus 3.0 U. It is new to me so I don't have much history. The cooling fans do not work at all. I checked the fan relays and have power at the distribution box but the #5 Main cooling fan fuse (40AMP) has no power showing. Is this fuse location powered all the time or is power controlled by the sensor? My understanding is that that fuse would be powered at all times and the power goes from the fuse to the relays to the temp sensor/cooling fans. Is that correct? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for that component? Any help is appreciated. Also, I have a power drain on the battery. The battery is brand new.

yes it should be hot at all times.
i guess i cant upload the diagram on here. i can send it to your email if needed. if you are not getting power in the distribution block you might have a bad connection. pull the power wire and run an ohms test.
