I tried to get my old 86 Taurus Back....... I just about had it when they guy that I knew, his mom said nope not getting it.......

so I sulked for a bit, especially after getting all the parts that I have....... over $300 worth of 86-89 parts sitting in the garage.....

so my SHO MTX swap will be put on the back burner for a few monthes untill I can get enough money to get another 3.0l to drop in as this engine has the 2.5 4 cyl....

I got the car for $300, the lady was complaining about transmission problems, when we looked at it, there was no fluid on the dipstick..... so we bought it., put a litre of fluid in, and drove it a few blocks to home..... then proceeded to add in about 4 more litres untill it's almost up to the add mark.... no wonder why she was having problems...... gonna fix up the trans for now and drive it like this untill I can afford to get the 3.0 l engine

Awesome find. I wish I could find a car here for $300.00 to mess around with :(.
Too bad you don't live in Indiana, Kyle.. There's a G2 thats in pretty good condition for $525. I'm actually planning to see if it's a good investment.. It might be my next play toy :)

Wow...$525. The cheapest cars here are usually $1,000 minimum.

Just the other day there was like an 80's Camaro with body panels that did not match, it was RUSTED (Thats a no-no in California...) and the panels that DID have paint on them were like three different colors. The interior was messed up and the seats were coming apart BAD...the headliner was falling down, etc, etc...They wanted $1,450. "Firm."
Ouch.. I'm hoping after I get my baby car back, I'll check out that G2... Then im gunna be asking for help :)

Wow, that's cool. Is that a cord for a block warmer I see? That looks exactly like the white Taurus I see that occasionally parked on the street.
Yes, that is our winter "Pull start" :lol2: it's not too bad..... needs some work for sure
