Ok, My tranny died over a year ago now and I had it replaced in January. The guy that did it said it would shift tight for a while. It still does it, but only when the car isn't warm. It also has trouble shifting from 1-2 when I don't give it enough gas. Should I be worried?

When you say it has trouble, do you mean it won't shift? If so, I think your throttle valve cable may need adjusting. (I'm assuming you're talking about the car in the avatar).

An improperly adjusted TV cable (no not that kind
) will cause hard shifting, late shifting, basically a whole bunch of problems that would make you think the trans is about to take a Southern vacation.

The 2007 Avatar is the latest addition to the Ford stable of modern, stylish vehicles. Built on the state-of-the-art Fox platform for structural rigidity, it will combine nimble handling and neck-snapping performance in a luxurious, well-appointed package. An available supercharged 3.8-litre power plant known as "Essex II" will provide 235hp and 258ft-lb of torque.

It's about time they start putting some balls into something other than the Mustang. After they killed the SHO.... I don't know what they were thinking.

Some people are too ignorant of Ford flaws. Thats why I wouldn't be suprised when 50% of my student body either thinks a Pinto is a performance car or a bean. :D
