I went old school lol.I punched a quarter inch hole in the exhaust pipe just in front of the muffler.

Yup through the weld that was already there from the previous owner.I sanded everything and primed it too so it won's rust out.Then at Xmas my wife and kid are getting me a magnaflow kit.So it's not for long.It's no different than taking the muffler right out like some here have done.

not bad but i think you should have straight piped it it does sound different cost me 10 bucks for the repair pipe and clamp when i did it

10 bucks that's it? The only reason I did it the way I did is because I thought I would have to get everything welded.Meaning at least 50-60 bucks.To some it might sound like a lot but to me it could make or break me for the month.

yeah a few bucks for the pipe a couple for a clamp and some wire and an old exhaust tip i had lying around thats it.. so yeah about 10 bucks
