kewl. how much $$, miles? mods?[/b]
it cost $3000 only a bit over 100k miles, no real mods, just removed intake silencer and resonator. the guy who owned it was a mechanic it's been garaged since they had it, oil changes every 3k, new timing belt, water pump, clutch, gearbox, brakes (pads and resurfaced rotors) only thing it needs is a set of struts, they are not shot, just on their way out. so i'm thinking some tokicos and maybe drop it a little, and of course, eventualy some STBs from teh bob...

Is the 5 speed faster than it's automatic predicessor?
Automatic counterpart, or variant would be a better descriptor.

The MTX was the predecessor, being introduced in 1989 in the original SHO. The ATX option wasn't introduced until 1993.

And yes, the 5 speed is faster.
