I am getting ready to put a 12,000 Watt stereo system in my car. I have two 2000 watt RMS Audiobahn amps that will be hooked up to a 5 Farad Capacitor. I also have a 800 Watt RMS Kenwood that I will be hooking to a 1 Farad Cap. I am going to take out the battery from the front and put two Optima Yellow Top batteries in the rear. What I would like to know is, is there an alternator out there to replace the old one that has double outputs? What I want to do is have one battery runs the car and my three Kenwood amps, and the other run my Audiobahn sub amps. If I hook the two together then I could pull too much from the other amps and cause problems for them all. I had that problem when I was in England Lucky for me my car had an duel output.

The best set up would be a large Odyssey battery like the PC 1200 or the next one up. Then an Accuvolt FR 1500 to regulate the voltage.
