Moms car has been running rough and losing power for quite some time now and i’m not sure what I exactly i should try now. Had codes for Catalytic efficiency below threshold in bank 1 & 2, random misfire,misfire 4,5,6, and camshaft position sensor. So I just did New plugs wires and coil, both of the bank 1 cats and new o2 senors and a new camshaft sensor and synchronizer. The synchronizer was fried completely (had atleast 1/8 inch of play in it no exaggeration) so I thought that would be the fix. Nope. I made sure to get the synchro in the exact same spot but the car is running exactly the same, maybe a slight bit better but it’s still missing and I think it starting that classic “chrip” the synchronizer does but im not 100% sure. The check engine light is off now but still not running right. Possibly put it in wrong? even tho it was in same position and is running identical. Injectiors? Timing? anybody have any more ideas let me know.
