Well, we took our Lesabre to Indiana on vacation.
We got it when the Taurus started having minor tranny problems.

Well, the tranny problem still exsists, but it is not REAL bad, we can drive it. (made minor repair to electrical)
Now the Lesabre - It feels like it is floating on air, FULL power steering, and really quite nice, BUT

My wife still likes the Taurus. So, I drive around in it, I drive her around.
Yeah, stuff on the taurus rattles, it shifts kinda akwardly, and well, showing lots of signs of aging. But oddly enough, it is just more comfy a ride. I can't explain it really, maybe i am just so used to it?

Yeah I tell ya, you may be thinking of getting rid of the bull, but you will miss the comfort.

I think also what it may be, some luxury cars like the LeSabre, you feel like you have little control, like the car wants to drive itself. But the Taurus, while manageable, still gives the driver a feeling of actually driving a car instead of trying to operate some wierd game.

Thats one of my top Bugs with GM cars, you cant feel anything. I was driving my friends moms '01 SS Monte Carlo and going 70 up a country road I couldnt predict the car for crap. ( I wont mention that my '96 LX could own it any day or night) I thought the AX4 series tranny was stubburn.....

Greenwood/Indianapolis.

Besides, i think, seeing how you are 17, your folks prolly would be a bit creeped if some almost 30 yr old wierdo were to show up at your place.
