as long as the duratec is a 99 and up, yes it will bolt up but you have to cut off the crank that comes out of the engine( i believe it is also known as a pilot bushing)

if the duratec is older, it will not easly bolt up, the bell housing is diffrent and there is alot of fabrication.

go to contour.org and do some research, as for fitting in a taurus, it should fit just fine, with custom drive axels of course!
