·My mom just got a 2004 Sable LS Premium, EVERY OPTION! :coolgleam: She picks it up Wednesday. This will be replacing her 2003 Saturn VUE. I'll try to get a few pics.
27k to be exactOriginally posted by civicex@Jun 28 2004, 10:24 PM
Pretty much what I was thinking. If I were to dump a significant amount of money into a new car, it wouldn't be a Taurus or a Sable. A completely loaded new Sable is like...? $26k?
lol  The Saturn actually was a huge disappointment. It has been back to the dealership with warranty claims on, I think, 8 different occasions. I won't get into that, but she is getting rid of it with only 18k miles on the clock. :blink:Originally posted by godspunk32@Jun 28 2004, 09:57 PM
YAAAAAAAAAY!!!! I PEED IN YOUR POOL!!!! OR ON YOUR SATURN!!!! YAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!
Hope she enjoys the Sable...I'm sure she will, especially after the disappointment of a Saturn...

Not true. Gen IV wagons can have all around disc brakes.Originally posted by godspunk32@Jun 29 2004, 04:23 AM
Gen IVs don't come with disc brakes at all four corners. The only Tauri that came with four corner discs were the Gen III Tauri/Sables with the ABS option that also added the dual exhaust and the SHO models (not sure which generations). Other than that, you're stuck with front disc and rear drum...
It's good that she got the 'tec...she'll like it!

Also earlier non-Sho's could be had with 4 wheel discs too. My '93 GL vulcan had 'em.Originally posted by godspunk32@Jun 29 2004, 07:23 AM

I'm glad you had good luck with yours, but ours was a POS. Very rattly, low quality, had NO power, had electronic problems, windshield cracked for no reason, fuel gauge quit working, gas tank filler tube leaked, and much much more... All this and we are getting rid of it with 18k miles on the clock. <_<Originally posted by trojan@Jun 29 2004, 10:20 AM
are you guys serious we have a saturn vue AWD V6 and it kicks ass. its a 2002. i wish we would of waiting because now they come with a honda V6 3.5 VTEC with 250 HP witch can kick any (normal) taurus so lets so a little respect. and you really shouldnt talk unless you have driven or have one. dont judt go off stuff you read. im not trying to start anything im jus sticking up for a car i really like a lot and have had no problems in a year.
Well, the best thing that ever happened to the Taurus was getting a Japanese Yamaha engine in it!!Originally posted by jason8225@Jun 29 2004, 12:41 PM
And why on earth would GM be using a Honda engine in those??![]()

Why can't people just hit the "Spell Check" button underneath their posting. Don't take this personally; it applies to a large number of people, but it's getting so damn difficult to read some of these posts...Originally posted by trojan@Jun 29 2004, 09:20 AM
