Hey-
For you baseball fans out there, just wondering who you all will be voting for?

Here's mine:
AL-
First Base: Carlos Delgado
Second: Alfonso Soriano
Third: Alex Rodriguez
Catcher: Jason Varitek
Shortstop: Nomar Garcia-freakin-parra
Outfielders (3): Vlad Guererro, Johnny Damon, Torii Hunter

NL-
First: Jason Phillips
Second: Luis Castillo
SS: Kaz Matsui
Third: Ty Wigginton
Catcher: Mike Piazza
Outfielders: Jeremy Burnitz, Cliff Floyd, Craig Biggio

(can you see the NY Mets bias?)

For anyone who would like to vote, but doesn't know where, go to www.mlb.com and click on All-star game voting...

is derek jeter on there? if so, i vote for him!! mmmmm
Derek Jeter SUCKS!!!

Nomar is so much better..

Yes, I'm a big baseball fan, although I don't get to follow it as much as I would like. I went to see the Mets spank the Sillies in extra innings last night at the new ballpark, which I've actually been to four times this season. Very nice.

I was a Mets fan in the womb, and I will be till the grave. Let's not say that all New York teams buy their way into the World Series. The Mets have a relatively low payroll, comparatively, and they are doing pretty well this season. I think they'll be a late season contender.

Lets go Mets!!!

What no Pudge for AL Catcher? The Tigers still don't get the respect, even after signing the best catcher in the league!

DAMN...your offense is looking mighty nice...i can never get one to look like that.

You've got Piazza, who will hit 40+ homers this year, provided he can stay healthy, and will probably have more than 100 rbi and a .320 BA.
Sean Casey is the best hitting player in the NL right now, and I don't see him slowing up. Good Choice.
Boone is doing well, although might have some injury problems with him in the stretch.
Nice pickup with Castilla.
Uribe is a good SS with good offensive numbers.
Burnitz is hitting the ball like it's going out of style and has more power than Piazza (unfortunately the Mets needed to use him for trade bait, just when he started heating up last season).
I HATE Barry Bonds. I won't even talk about him.
Juan Pierre will steal 30+ bases a year, so you're good with him, although he'll have alot of SOs and a low BA.

You pitchers are nice too:
Pedro, nuff' said.
Dillwood sucks...got beat by my Metties last week.
Russ Ortiz is solid
Maddux, always a good pick (except last year, but he seems to have turned that around this year).
Mesa is doing really well this year, but you'd be better off getting Benitez as your closer.
Wood will be back...don't worry about that.

Nice squad...good luck with it!

Reds baseball is the only sport that I've liked/followed for my whole life. I might get into this fantasy thing, I've never done it before.

Reds are doing better this year :) Casey (Sean) and Graves (Danny) are on fire :D Hopefully Griffey can play well and stay strong and they should be ok. however, give them another year (and several trade moves) to be a world series team. They will get there. :)

I used to like Yankees before they began buying their way into world series. now, I am not so much fond of them anymore  I prefer Phillies B)
