I might be able to get a good deal for some dealer take offs of Michelin Energy MXV4 tires in 215/60/16...question is are they any good? From the online reviews I've read, the opinion seems to be mixed from everything from grip in the dry to snow and how much these tires wear...

So I take it up to my fellow TCCA'ers; any of you guys have any experience with this tire? Grip in all sorts of weather, noise, wear, anything you can think off will be really helpful.

Oh yeah, for anyone that read the MK VIII wheels thread, here's a little update to the wheels

i have them on my wagon. i like them. they soffened up the ride compared to the cheep bfg goodwrench (or something like that) that was on their before.

they have pretty good traction in all weather. they are not high performance tires though

Yeah, they are OK tires (just like any other Michelin tires) for minivans, but I would not put those on the Taurus even if you paid me.

Why don't you look at tirerack.com, I just bought Yokohama Avid's, they were $67 and I got $100 gift certificate for Mariott.
So far I LOVE them, those tires stick to the pavement like a fly to the honey.

i had them. i got them used though. and i just got rid of them cause metal was showing. they went pretty quick, but it could be because i liked to squeal my tires between first and second all the time. they were ok. i felt like i was gonna die sometimes in the rain and the snow, but that might of been cause they were all ready worn down too much. so i can't offer any advice since i never had them new.
