Hi, can someone tell me how hard it is to replace an oxygen sensor at bank 1, sensor 1 on a 1997 Mercury Sable Vulcan 3.0 L engine?

Pic of doing a G-4 DOHC engine. Mostly nuts and bolts, take parts off and put them back. Special socket essential. For me, I cut the wires off and use a regular deep wall socket for removal as they can be tight. New one not all that tight. Need good tools.

Exactly what Chart said, to remove the old one save yourself the frustration and just cut the wires off the top of the sensor so you can get a good socket over it. If it gives you trouble soak it in pb blaster. The special socket is helpful for putting in the new one.
