Hello all!

I was just snooping around duratec performance (Drazas?). I found some stuff about headers and y pipes for the Mazda6 V6. SAME ENGINE (as I am sure you all know!). Would it fit on my 97 lx?
This would be amazing!

I'm not 100% on this but I'm assuming it wouldn't =/ Different cars = different exhaust designs.

Headers should theoretically bolt up, but I don't know if the bends on the headers would route it correctly through the engine bay and onto the exhaust system. I would imagine you would at least need a custom Y-pipe to match the headers to the exhaust.

The Duratec Mazda6 headers set sold at http://www.msdsinc.com looks like this:

Close fit? I don't own a Duratec-anything so I have no idea.

Just because it has the same engine doesn't mean the exhaust will look remotely similar. And it doesn't.

Duratec Performance is currently working out some bugs in the Y-pipe for the gen 3 Taurus 3.0 DOHC. When it is worked out and if it sells they might make headers also, sit tight they are coming.
