Well Ive been here now for almost 2 years so I figured I'd give this a shot...

1999 Mercury Sable LS
Purchased new by my parents in August of 99, was there with them when they got it, and told them what to get such as the floor shift and bigger engine... the only thing they didnt listen to me on was the color. (I wanted either Black or Blue but they picked Red).

From the Factory:
3.0L DOHC Duratec V-6 with 200 h.p. and 200 lb.-ft
Toreador Red Clear Coat Metallic
Tan leather interior
Floor Shift
Wood Grain Accents
Moon Roof
EATC
Power Drivers Seat with Electronic Lumbar Support
Rear HVAC Vents
Heated Power Mirrors
Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel

Modifications I have Done:
6 Disc Kenwood CD Changer
JBL Premium Sound System - 6 speakers and 1 Rear Mounted Sub Woofer
Generation 4 Floor Mats that have SABLE stitched into them
Leather Steering Wheel Cover
Clear Side Markers with Amber Bulbs
Brand New Headlights
Foot Well Lighting
Locking Glove Box
Light in the Glove Box
SHO Speedometer that reads up to 150 mph
Power Antenna
Chrome Door Locks
Chrome MFS Cap
SHO Wiper Arm
Both Wipers Painted a Textured Black

Future Mods:
Courtesy lights - Have the Parts and a Plan this summer I plan to get them in and working
Chrome button for the Shifter - Mike will be installing this for me at the North East Meet this summer ;)
LED Interior Lights - Eventually replace all the interior lights with LEDs
Passenger Power Seat / SHO Seats - Ive been keeping my eyes out for these for a long time now.

Currently it has 126,000 miles and still has the original Engine and Transmission, I just had to put a lot of money in though and get my struts replaced since one was going bad. But now it rides nice and stiff. :)

Now for the Pictures:

SHO speedometer = WIN.

Nice looking Sable Andrew B) Nothing wrong with TR. What kind of struts did you put on the car? Did you put new springs on too?

The Color has grown on me a lot since then :lol2:

Makes me wanna cry soo bad. That looked exactly like my 99 Mercury Sable LS. But mine didnt have the moon roof. Leather seats, red paint, Chrome SHO rims when i bought it. It had the lovely 3.0 DOHC Duratec. I misss mine soooo bad. It was my first car too. :(
