Can someone tell me the location of the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC) on a 2000 Ford Taurus V6 3.0 DOHV Duratec Engine. A picture of where the IAC is located would be much appreciated. I say this because after reading other posts in this forum it appears that the IAC may be the cause of the engine accelerating to 2,000 RPMs when in drive and coasting. Then, if I put the car in neutral the engine races to 4,000 RPMS and remains there. At first, when I would put the car in neutral and goose the accelerator a few times the engine would idle down to about a 1,000 RPMs and eventually to back to about 800 rpms where it should be.
