I just posted a question before about reusing the existing amp to power a 6" sub off an aftermarket HU. I am assuming that the new HU will have RCA connections that would go out to an amp...could I reuse the stock sub amp if I used a LOC? I've read most people use the LOC to go from wires to RCA, but will going from RCA to wires accomplish the same thing?

A LOC won't work backwards. You'll need an aftermarket amp for your sub. It will connect to the sub out RCAs on your HU.

You have a 94, so maybe. Got diagrams for the whole audio system? I'll be able to tell then.
