Dear APC,

I know you guys have been around for awhile and have a good knowledge of the aftermarket world. But there seems to be a vast overlooking of 96-99 Ford Taurus'. Not only are these cars powerful (i.e. Taurus SHO), but they were the best selling car in the country, and you can't go a day driving your car and not see one Gen 3 taurus. If you check the forums @ www.TaurusCarClub.com you will see about a hundreds of owners who are looking and willing to buy aftermarket parts. The most basic of which is Altezzas/Euro Tails. APC has applications for practically ever car except the taurus. All we, the taurus community, are asking is for a little attention from the larger aftermarket companies. Do you guys honestly think that Altezzas/Euro tails for a Chevy Astro will bring in more money the one of the most seen cars on the road today? Please try to shed somelight on us. well i didnt include Gen2's for a couple reasons. one i own a gen3, two allthough i would love a gen2 sho over my gen3 GL, there are far more ppl with gen3's in this country, the gen3's outsold all others. also the reason i chose APC is for a while they have been thhe big dog in aftermarket accesories. No other company out there has such a wide foot hold in the industry. companies like JC whitney and NOPI, they are just fancy pepboys, they dont make they own products, half the s*** companies sell on the net come from APC, they produce and sell accessories. besides they just got sued for $600,000 by the Feds for selling clearouts and s*** that violated federal DOT laws. and yes altezzas are the posterchild of not ricers, but ghetto ricers. i figure if they make altezzas they will make more stuff.

well if you check the web, places like motortrend, you will find that the 96-99 taurus sold of 300,000 units PER year. and all other cars in its category like the accord, were haveing declines in sales. aslo ford racing, and edmunds also have the sales history, and the comment was pertaining to all gen taurus, Gen3's we're the best selling out of all the generations. hence ford calling it "Best-Selling Car in America" nuff said

oh well, the thing i read said gen3 threes were, but no biggie. i stand corrected. anyway, the point still is, we need aftermarket parts for taurus'
