Best way to track down the source is to crawl into the trunk with a flashlight and have a trusted soul hose the area down from outside.

LOOK at the Trunk edge Rubber Seal

Open the Trunk,
LOOK at the Seal,
It's "Joined" at the Center (Bottom)
'Has the "JOIN" come loose?

I put a piece of 3M 33 Black Electrical tape on the joint until I could get some
Black Silicone to repair the "Joint".

Update

water in trunk,again.

After minute inspection,I turned the "Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers" (Trunk Lid
closure stops) 1/2 turn CW which allowed the lid to more completely meet the
ageing gasket,when closed.

So Far, no more moisture.
