Picked up motor oil for the latest oil change on my '02 'tec and noted that Motorcraft 5W20 oil now "...meets ILSAC GF-5 spec..." whereas the older oil in my basement "...meets ILSAC GF-4..." spec.
Does anyone have a quantitative idea of what the new spec actually means, other than "...it's better..." or "...it's slicker..."?
