First, what year car do you have?
Do you have the rotary knob controls in your car now?

There is no in dash cd player unless you go aftermarket but you can get a 6 disc changer for the trunk that came on some models.

Yeah, like he said above you can make it work, but it's a hassle since everything related to the HVAC system will have to be swapped.

If you want the premium sound radio, you can just get the RCU (the box in the trunk that contains the amp, tuner, and signal processor). The panel in the dash with all the buttons is just a fancy remote control for the box in the trunk. The box in the trunk is swappable on the cheap without modifying anything else in the car. Just grab the premium sound RCU and it's plug and play.

Or you can buy an aftermarket CD deck and the install kit.

I was able to get a couple of mach rcus @ a pick n pull for cheap. They are not the smooth shiny metal box like the stock ones, but have heat sink fins on them. Dont think jbl rcu would do much good without unit in rear deck. I would also try to get the mach tweeter sails for the frt. doors.
