Is is OK to use Iridium Spark Plugs in a Duratec? Any personal experiences with them and the results? Thanks.

I wouldn't. Just stick to OEM and you won't have to worry or wonder.

Yeah, of the many spark plug discussions we've had, most everybody will tell you that OEM's are the best (along with Autolites, because they are made by Motorcraft)

btw... Nice to hear from you Chris! Are you coming to our Quaker Steak and Lube meet tomorrow?

You may find this interesting. About Autolite

Iridium and the premium line of NGK spark plugs will work quite well.

The problem with the Bosch multi electrode plugs is you cannot get the right gap on them. These seem to be the only plugs others have trouble with.

Interesting indeed. I was told by the people at Autozone that they were made by Motorcraft. That's what I get for listening to them.
At least they were right about them being an OE replacement.
