I understand that the diagram in my Chiltons Repair Manual shows the upper intake bolt untightening and tightening sequence for a Contour Duratec (which explains why it looks nothing like my Taurus intake) instead of a Taurus/Sable. Can this sequence still be used on a Taurus Duratec? Or does someone have the correct procedure?

The Haynes manual shows the 2.5L Duratec, but the sequence for the 3.0L is the same.... the shape of the intakes are different, but the bolt patern is the same. They even use the same part number for the upper and lower intake gasket set.
