the kit came with screws to screw the mounts to the car, i want to know if i can screw the screws into the foam between the bottom opeining under the stock lights, and the metal the comes after the foam? thanks.

people seem to have good luck wih the plastic, I went with the metal...4 drill bits and 3 hrs later they were in...and the brackets still held up to a ditch that ended up toalling the car...now that impressed me...so its your call if you have the time and willpower

new question, they arent working, everything appears to be connected, the light turns on when switched to on but the lights do not turn on. what is going on??

i think the problem is the switch i will try and get a new one tomarrow

Before you buy a new switch, check the ground connection...

k i will do that thank you, but i think when i was connecting the wires i pushed a little to hard and need a new one anyways but i will check the ground.
