After listening to the sethoscope, I have conculded that the whine is from the afternator bearing & the idler pulley bearing.

Anyone have any specific comments about the Idler pulley replacement. Do I get OEM or after market? and an comments on how easy/tough it is to change?

Will the Idler pulley come off easily when the bolt honding it is removed or will it be jammed?

They're pretty easy to replace. Take out the bolt, and the whole assembly will come off. Replace the pulley with the new one, and you're done!
