I think the only thing that actually works AFAIK, is black trim/bumper paint.

My dad had some special cleaner/treatment stuff from a dozen years ago, and it worked awesome, but only lasted about a month and the trim was faded again.

Back to black does not seem to last that long for me....

I then used some degreaser as maybe I have to much wax build up on it..

failing that i might have to think about painting when its spring ...

I've just repainted wiper arms, trim, etc with satin black paint. Works well, looks good, and seems to last.

I had some seriously faded pillars on my car, so I used trim paint and made them look brand new. Several months later and they've held up very well.

I painted the rubber trim with the black bumper paint. Don't use more than two coats though or it will crack in a couple of years.
