I'd like to give it a thorough cleaning, the center console itself, and surrounding it. Does anyone know what the process is to remove it? Thanks guys. I have a general idea, I'd just rather go in as informed as I can. And it's like to not break stuff, lol.

Assuming you have the console with the floor shift. Open the armrest and remove the rubber/foam pad. Remove those four bolts. Then there is one bolt on each side of the console near the floor shift that have to little covers that pop down. Remove and clean then reassemble the same.

Thanks! I'm just going to assume I have to undo the bolt that holds the shifter-top itself on..
