I am new to DIY on my 2000 taurus wagon.
Before the fluid is changed by shop. This time I decide to replace the fluid by myself.
The latest change was done at 100,000 km, it is 190,000km now. I think it is time to replace it.
The manual says the capacity is 12.7liter. Will I am able to drain all fluid once I remove the pan?

By the way, what others I should start looking on this 10 years old car?

It's 12-13 quarts capacity, but I usually get 14 quarts of fluid for replacement just in case.
Thanks for replies.
I did not flash all fluid out, I only replaced the fluid from the pan. I add about 5 liters.
I added synthetic blend ATF, I believe the old fluid is not synthetic.will this an issue that new synthetic blended ATF is mixed with old ATF fluid?
