Ok, here's the deal. Thinking of grabbing one of those round reusable freeflow filters. Well I'm going to for sure. I was thinking instead of routing a CAI into the fender, why not just put a small, 1 or 2 inch tall scoop or induction on the hood? I could seal it up and get it done fairly easy. Just something big enough to allow air in, but keep the water from soaking it. Kind of like the turbo scoops on the 80's Dodges and some of the newer Mitsu's. Would probably look quite a bit like the "power bulge". It would be way different and still allow cold air, and if I make an opening in the front, then at the higher speeds I would have just a bit of force going in. I know to compensate for aerodynamics and such so I don't end up with a stagnant air pocket, thats easy. However looking for some more opinions on this matter, what do y'all think?
