Hello,
I do have some problems with my car. It has sometimes hickup at about 35mph and I am not able to find out what that means. I would be happy if someone is able to give some information to me.
Greetings and happy new year!

3.0 L OHV Vulcan-engine with 130000 km (81250 miles) on it. I don`t know exact rpm at the moment but it seems not to depent on it. It happens only between 35 and 43 mph and not at any other speed. I have driven my Taurus up to high speed from 180 kmh (115 mph) on German highway.

That's about the speed that the torque converter will lock up in third. If it gets really bad, I would have it checked at an independent trans shop (not AAMCO, they are the anti-transmission!).

Thanks for help. It is not so bad but should be better fixed. Problem is that I am from Germany and the Taurus was never sold officially in Germany so I think there are about 50 - you can say it is really exotic. I think there will be noboby who knows anything about that car.
