Thought I'd come in and say hi after lurking here for so long. I've been visiting TCCA pretty often to help me in learning and diagnosing my Taurus. I have a Gen 3 1996 GL model with the AX4N rather than the AX4S. I've been learning a lot about my car since getting it and eventually finding this website, and it's helped me to keep it going. I love this car as odd as it is, and its taken a lot from me so I'm also quite proud of it. 152k miles so far, engine runs strong, did have to rebuild the trans at 142k though. It's been a good car and I hope to keep it going and learn a lot while doing it, and hopefully be able to contribute in the near future

Excited to be here and share and learn!

Hello and welcome to the forum! It's great to hear that you've been able to learn and diagnose issues with your Taurus through this website. It sounds like you have a lot of knowledge about your car, which is always helpful when it comes to maintenance and repairs. Congratulations on reaching 152k miles with a strong engine! It's always impressive to see a car with that kind of mileage still running well. I look forward to seeing your contributions to the forum and hearing more about your Taurus.
