BTW, where did you order your harness from? I saw a couple folks on eBay selling them cheap, but they looked like they used Chinese relays.
The one seller was located in Taiwan.

I ended up biting the bullet and getting the more expensive ones b/c they used Bosch or Tyco (Potter & Brumfield) relays exclusively.

Got my harness wired in last night. It definitely makes a huge difference. I was running the SilverStars with the stock wiring for a couple months. That was a slight upgrade from the stock bulbs, but mostly in the color, not the intensity (IMHO.) The harness really makes a difference. I wired in one side and left the other side stock. The upgraded low beam was as bright as the stock high beam. Wish I had a camera to document it, but both sides are in now and I'm loving it! I got my harness kit from SUVlights.com. Their products are extremely high quality, IMO. I think there is a delay on all the harness kits b/c they are relocating their shop this week.

I have the SUVlights.com kit also. HUGE difference. Every Gen 3 Taurus should have this "fix".
Do you have Daytime Running Lights? I noticed today that when they are on, it causes the relays to click on/off at a very high frequency (b/c of the reduced input voltage) and I think that would shorten the life of the relays. It doesn't cause the beam to flicker or pulsate, but I still think it may be taxing to the relays. I'm going to pull the DRL fuse until I am sure about this.

*Edit* Follow-up... I just got off the phone with Jay at SUVlights. He said it sounds to him like our DRL circuits run at a "pulsating" lower voltage, rather than a constant lower voltage. Looks like I'll have to keep the DRLs disabled.
