I have a Gen 3 with column shift. I've searched the forums and yes I have found the other posts. But heres my problem the grommet on the fire wall is for the shift cable from column shifts to pass through. I have column shift so that grommet is out of the question. What should I do/any ideas of where to run the power wire through?

there is a small hole right above the fuse box above the brake pedal. its easier to access the hole if you remove the fuse box.

that small hole is where the shift cable goes thru on column shift cars.

Here is the infamous grommet. Still there should be plenty of room for power wires.

infamous is right.... I couldn't get it to work on my car. I have a column shift also... I just drilled a hole in the firewall, installed a grommet, and ran my wire.

Odd I got it too work with my car. It took a little work but I got it. I also have column shift.

Although i have a floor shift, I have so much wire ran through there it is just about full. Maybe 10 or more.
