i am blowing my 30's fuse, i am not exactly sure why but when i turn it up it apparently can handle the power that i want, what should i to. i have a kenwod amp, with 2 mtx subs, i purchased a control device from car toys that allowed me to tape into the original stuff, anthing thoughts would be appreciated thank you.

I had the same problem. How do you have the subs wired? If you have them at a lower Ohm then your amp is rated for it will blow your fuse. What is happening is your subs have less resistance then your amp can handle so when you turn it up the power rushes into your subs and causing it to pull more past your fuse blowing it. Either gat another amp to match the one you have, or a new one that will run your subs like they are, or rewire the subs.

get a smaller amp.. I have a 333 watt sub, that runs at a 1 ohm pass.. Single channel amp.. and I have never blown a fuse.. Just my opinion..

Is your power wiring big enough? The smaller the wire, the more resistance, the lower the voltage and the higher the amperage to drive the load.
